This trip is sponsored by the Osage Veterans Memorial Commission, formerly the War Memorial Commission, which was established by the Osage Nation Congress in 2011. This online questionnaire will serve the Veterans Memorial Commission in determining the number of interested eligible Osage veterans (first-come-first-serve). The Iwo Jima Flag Raising Anniversary Trip to Sacaton, AZ will be for February 20-23, 2025. Participating Veterans, War Mothers, and Traveling Companions will leave via bus from the Pawhuska Osage Casino on February 20th (Time TBD) All Osage Veterans and War Mothers and ONE travel companion are invited. You will need to supply a digital copy of the person's DD214 and Osage Nation Membership. Dishonorable discharges are not accepted by the Veterans Memorial Commission. The Osage Nation and or ON Veterans Memorial Commission are not responsible for lost items, damaged property, or injuries incurred during travel and event attendance.
